Q: There is one mammal which has more teeth than any other - up to 260 in fact. Which mammal is it? Answer to last week’s question: My two favourite renditions of ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ are by Eva Cassidy and Israel Kamawiwo’ole. NB If you know any other good renditions of the song, let me know!

Does baleen count? ‘Cause if so, I’d go with the blue whale or something. If not, I’m gonna guess something TOTALLY off-the-wall, like the spiny anteater. (Which, for all I know, may not even have teeth.) Oh, wait. And it’s a marsupial. Never mind. Umm…I dunno.

I thought that marsupials were mammals - but isn’t the spiny anteater a monotreme (also a class of mammal) rather than a marsupial? My guess would be a platypus (also a monotreme).

@Eddie — I think you’re right, I was just getting my Venn diagrams scrambled. Perhaps this is why I should have paid attention in my zoology class rather than skipping to go play Ultimate Frisbee. Hmmm…
